Normally, KidsWifi connects wirelessly to your home Wi-Fi network. If you want to place it near your home router, you may prefer to connect it by cable to your router. When connected this way, it may operate at faster speeds.

Connecting by cable is as simple as plugging the cable provided with your KidsWifi (or any other Ethernet cable) into the bottom of your KidsWifi and one of the ports on your router. You KidsWifi will automatically use that connection instead of a wireless one.

If you later decide to connect wirelessly, simply unplug the cable and set your KidsWifi network connection to your home Wi-Fi network.
